Orcish Pantheon
The most scattered of all the Amauran races, the Orcs also have the most disjointed and fragmented of religion. What some have sneered at as “directionless idolatry,” the orcs recognize the divine in all things - from grass to pottery to textiles. And the pantheon of gods between orc tribes can differ almost indistinguishably. The only constant among the orc tribes - so far - is a duo called the Guides (Basha and Balka), the Creator, and their antagonist - the goddess of the Black Water.
Orcs used to be afraid of the open sea - the Black Water - until they learned to use the stars to guide them. This is why Balka wove stars into Basha’s cloak - so that she could be a guide to their children - the orcs.
